About the Author

Schellie Fanfan is a Haitian American female, born in Manhattan and raised in Queens Village, New York. She is the daughter of two strong parents who raised her with the values of honesty, ambition, kindness, family first and spiritual centeredness. Her father is a retired attorney and registered record administrator while her mother is a fashion designer and seamstress. She is the youngest of two daughters and a member of an extremely large extended family. Ms. Fanfan is the proud mother of Etana (18 years of age) and Philippe (16 years of age). She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in addition to two Master’s degrees from Florida State University in Mental Health Counseling and Human Services and Systems. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Mental Health and Behavioral Services which in an outpatient interdisciplinary agency for children, adolescents and adults. Schellie is also the founder and sole owner of Ask Schellie Consulting, LLC where she consults with individuals, businesses, ministries and organizations to maximize performance and productivity. She is an ordained Minister attending Redeeming Word Christian Center International, formerly known as Kingdom Life International Center.

After the ending of a 13 year marriage, Schellie committed her expertise and life to learning effective methods to resolving conflict, optimizing communication, maximizing intimacy in marriages and strengthening the family unit as a whole. She is a heavily sought out empowerment speaker who teaches married couples of all ages the foundational keys to being successful, a lesson never learned in her early adult years. Schellie and her ex-husband, Balla Sissoko, are known to teach other separated couples their secret sauce to effective co-parenting after divorce. They maintain a tightly-knit family unit and feel purposed to share with the world the possibilities in others doing the same.

Schellie’s passion is to change the world one life, one family and one community at a time. Her purpose in life is to motivate and encourage others to experience Total Life Prosperity by applying practical principles that help people to Live In Their Smiles. Her philosophy on life is there are ABSOLUTELY NO obstacles that we cannot overcome due to God’s desire to bless us and empower us beyond what we could ever imagine or think. Ephesians 3: 19-20
